Sumerwynd Miniature Schnauzers
As guardians of the breed, we endeavor to produce puppies of exceptional quality that will serve to improve the breed as well as promote the correct type of in the breeding Miniature Schnauzers as outlined by the breed standard established by the American Miniature Schnauzer Club and approved by the American Kennel Club (AKC). To that end, we have bred, owned and shown over 70 AKC conformation and obedience champions, Best in Show winners on two continents, and numerous champions of other dog breed registries throughout the word. Many sires and dams of our puppies have been designated as Top Producers of the breed by Schnauzer Shorts Magazine. It is important to note that we DO NOT breed only show dogs. In fact, the percentage of show potential Minis from a litter are extremely small. Those that do go home as pets are excellent representatives of the breed and possess all the same essential inherited qualities of a puppy that is to be shown.
