I am very careful about placing my pet puppies in responsible, educated homes, so here are some questions that will help me get to know more about you.

Have you owned a dachshund in the past? Please describe your dachshund ownership experience and tell me what happened to the dog (still owned, died of old age, etc.).
Do you have any other pets or children?
Do you understand what a spay/neuter contract is, and can you comply with the simple spay/neuter contract I require for all pet puppies?
Is there someone in the household that is home during the day to train and socialize a puppy? If not, what are your plans to train and socialize a young dachshund during the day?
Although I am absolutely willing to take back a dog of my breeding at any time in its life, do you understand that a dog is for life? Veterinary bills over the lifetime of a dog generally do not get smaller as dogs age. Do you have the resources to care for an elderly dog?
Can you travel to Southern California to meet me and my dogs in person? I do not ship puppies to people I have never met.
