Quality SMOOTH STANDARD dachshunds, linebred on an established bloodline well known for over 60 years for gorgeous breed type, elegance, correct movement, top conformation, and proper temperament. This line has a history of top producers in our breed, specialty winners, and smooth dachshunds with a very special and distinctive look. I breed to keep a promising puppy to show and continue the bloodline, but not every puppy in a well-planned show litter necessarily turns out to be a true show prospect. A pet from a litter like this gets the benefit of years of planning and all of the care and attention given to show prospects. My puppies are well socialized with children and part of the family. I only have TRUE smooth standard dachshunds, which are between 20-32 pounds, NOT minis. I don't breed smooths to longs, breed oversized minis and call them "small standards," or anything like that...this is a well planned breeding program of true SMOOTH STANDARD dachshunds ONLY. My emphasis is proper breed type, correct temperament, and careful attention/research regarding genetic health concerns in our breed. Please inquire only if you are looking for a well bred smooth standard dachshund puppy from a responsible breeder and can provide information about your home environment. I DO NOT ship puppies to people I have never met, so be prepared to come to Southern California for a well bred member of your family. I am happy to send photos and information to serious people who have researched the breed or who have successfully owned dachshunds in the past. Please plan on being patient for the right puppy... I do not have puppies at all times as "standing inventory." It takes some time to evaluate a show litter and make good decisions, so be prepared to wait for me to go through this process. My puppies are definitely worth the wait, if you are looking for a top quality smooth standard dachshund for either pet or show! One older pet puppy possibly available to the right home at this time. Otherwise, wait list forming for litter expected next year.
