Favorite Whippet Comments
i am on my third whippet now a female 3 mths old, picked her up at 8 weeks. they are smart, sensitive and loving, quick to learn and eager to please. love to cuddle and always want to be part of the family and any action going on. their feelings get hurt easily, they dont like to be yelled at and love to be praised. i wouldnt have any other breed.

Additional Whippet Comments
My parents had 4 whippets in their lifetime, so far I have had 3 - all of them have lived to be more than 14 years. They are restful, do not demand attention, easy to exercise as they will run on their own. Very difficult eaters, hence they stay so slim. Faithful mainly to one person and their life revolves around the person, sometimes will only eat if food is given by that person. I would never have anything else!
