I have had rotties for over 26 yrs.They are wonderful loving family dogs.Great protection.If you are to purchase one make sure it is by a reputable breeder.They take pride in the breed and breed good tempered dogs.Too many back yard breeders breeding bad dogs.Temperment wise and health wise.I have taken in rescued rotties that turned out to be wonderful dogs.But it takes love and patience.(Not recommended for first time owners if dog hasn't been temperment tested)
