This is a hard one, our boxer is quite happy behind a fence which is about four foot tall, but a vtisiing jack russel jumped it easily.I would recommend a fence of about six foot, with slats going up and down rather than left to right as this just lends itself to being used as a ladder for easy escape.Even at that, there may need to be further extensions made later such as a top portion leaning in toward the garden so that a straight up-and-over' is not possible. But i would start with a six f
