All dogs used in our breeding program have been BAER hearing tested, had their Hips, Elbows, Patellas, Cardiac and OFA Eyes checked for disease. Each dog has had a yearly bloodwork panel performed that tests the Liver and Kidney functions. All tests can be verified on the Orthopedic Foundation of Animal's website. If a breeder say's they test, but don't register the tests, be cautious. If a breeder say's they don't believe in health testing, walk away.... why would you want to breed with something that is known to be a carrier of a disease or health problem. If there is a way to know who has what, why would you not want to know? There are only a couple of reasons I could think of why a breeder would not health test their breeding stock..... money, money and more money into their pockets for profit instead of investing in their dogs to create the best healthy dogs. Our mission... to breed for health, temperament and to the AKC standard.
