A Visitor asked the following question on 6/21/2007
I have a 3.6 lb. yorkie. Is she too small to be bred? I have read many things and sites that say both yes and no. We got her at 3 years old and she had been pregnant and had 1 pup just before we got her. She had it naturally. We would like to know if she could be bred 1 more time? Can anyone please give us some insite on this?

9/29/07 If you make sure to get a small male who has a history of producing small puppies then she should be able to have one more puppy. The question is ...do you want to risk her life to have ONE puppy? Because every time you breed a tiny one, you take a risk of C section or death during labor....so is it worth it? Lisa
