Sophie is my Female Weimaraner. She has just turned four years old. She is my constant companion. She watches TV with me (on the couch). She sleeps with me (in the bed). She goes where ever I go (in the car). It seems lately that she is shedding excessively. It's in the air, all in my car, on the blankets and sheets, even on my tables, which she never touches, meaning the hair is floating in the air.
Is this normal? Is there anything I can do about it? Is it maybe just because summer is here? Any help would be much appreciated.

My suggestion is to take Shophie to your veterinary for an examination. There are many things that can cause excess shedding and your veterinary is the one to eliminate those that endanger Sophie.
