I think both genders are equally loving...but there are personality differences, for sure. Females tend to be more picky, about food, people, toys...everything. Males can be much more active and high strung during play. Females are more likely to get jealous, but males are more likely to be uninterested in other people (besides their owners.) Both genders can be equally wonderful lap dogs, and both form equally strong bonds with their people.
