Take a used puppy pad outside and encauroge your puppy to use it. Most puppies are not reliably toilet trained completely up to 1 year. Take some of his feces and put it near where you want him to go outside to prime the area and give him the idea. Let him sniff the area near where the crap is he finds it out. I note the time of day that my dog ??poops and give him a 30 minute walk through this time he will rarely try to hold it until we get back. Good luck with your puppy.
