Bichon Frise Information

Bichons can suffer from an autoimmune condition known as immotile cilia syndrome (or Kartagener's syndrome). It is thought to be hereditary, but there is no current genetic test for this.

The best source of additional and more detailed information on these conditions is a veterinarian, breed club, or knowledgeable breeder.
