This Maltese puppy is being sold for the purchase price of $_______ Deposits are non-refundable. In addition, all expenses for preparation to ship plus shipping expenses are the responsibility of the buyer. The breeder must receive full payment by the time of taking possession of the puppy. This puppy is sold with no warranties, either expressed or implied in as is condition with no guarantees other than those stated herein. Breeder cannot guarantee adult size.
This Maltese is being sold as a family pet with limited AKC registration papers. The new owner will spay or neuter this Maltese before seven (7) months of age. Proof of spay/neuter must be received by the breeder before the puppy turns eight (8) months of age. AKC limited registration papers will be given after proof of spay/neuter is provided to the breeder.
The new owner has three (3) business days from the date of taking possession of the puppy to have the puppy examined by a veterinarian of their own choice, at their own expense. If the vet exam reveals that the puppy is diseased or has a genetic defect, the buyer must contact the breeder on the day of the veterinary office visit. The puppy must be returned to the breeder within four (4) days, along with a written statement from the attending veterinarian regarding the health problem. A replacement puppy will be provided when one becomes available. Replacement is the only option. Returning the puppy will be at the buyer's expense. There is no guarantee against accidents. No veterinary bills will be paid by the Breeder. Breeder has the option of refunding the purchase price of the puppy if a replacement will not be available in the foreseeable future. This puppy has been examined by a licensed veterinarian. To the best of Breeder’s knowledge, this puppy is free of disease and defects at the time of transfer. Buyer understands and agrees that when this puppy/dog leaves the breeder’s possession the Buyer is responsible for the life, health and well being of this animal.
It is agreed that at no time will the owner sell or give this puppy to a pet store, a puppy mill operation, a dog pound, a dog broker, or any similar enterprise. In the event that the owner needs to find a new home for the puppy, the breeder should be contacted for possible assistance.
Having read the above, and with full understanding of the contents herein, I willingly enter into this agreement. Breeder and Buyer agree that if litigation arises out of this sale transaction, suit must be brought in the County and State in which the Breeder resides at the time suit is filed.
