MahaRaja Bernese Mountain Dogs
A Complete Contract will be provided by email when appropriate. below are some important highlights.
This puppy will be fed a quality, complete dog food using the attached guide. This puppy is not to be fed solely grocery store name brand, generic or raw diet.
Purchaser agrees to use the kennel name “Maha Raja” at the front of the dogs registered name, will be registered by the Breeder with the American Kennel Club before the puppy goes home and records maintained in the Bernergarde online data base.
Each puppy will be permanently identified with AKC’s “Home Again” micro chip by the Breeder.
This puppy will be kept as a house dog and have proper shade and housing. Bernese are “people” dogs and this puppy shall not be kept primarily in a kennel situation or crated for extended periods of time. A fenced area should be provided to provide for the safety and security of the dog. This dog shall not be neglected in any manor or mistreated.
The buyer agrees to never sell, give, lease or dispose of the dog to any animal shelter, auction, raffle, puppy mill, litter lot sale, pet store or third party. If this dog or offspring are disposed in any of the above manners, Carol Lynn Fox will be paid $2,000.00 per puppy in damages and ownership of the dog/bitch will revert automatically to Carol Lynn Fox. The breeder must be notified if for any reason the buyer can no longer keep the dog. The dog will be returned to the breeder or the breeder will assist in re-homing. This dog/bitch shall not be euthanized with out consulting the breeder.
The buyer agrees to keep the breeder updated on any health conditions for the lifetime of the dog.
Owners are encouraged to participate in AKC and BMDCA performance events such as obedience, rally and drafting. The buyer will train and socialize this puppy to be a good canine citizen.
