Health Guarantee
The health guarantee shown is posted by this member. It is not, nor does it imply, a guarantee by QualityDogs.com, an endorsement by QualityDogs.com of this guarantee, or any verification of this guarantee by QualityDogs.com. The breeder listed is solely responsible for the content and satisfaction of this guarantee. For your protection, QualityDogs.com recommends obtaining a printed, signed copy of any health guarantee.

1. Copley Brittanys agrees to supply health information of the puppy upon delivery, and the AKC registration as soon as the transaction is complete and full receipt of the payment is made. The puppy is current on inoculations necessary to guarantee good health at the date of sale. There is a general health guarantee of the puppy for five (5) days from the date of receipt of the puppy. It is recommended that the Buyer take the puppy to a licensed veterinarian of their choosing within the five (5) day period to determine that the puppy is healthy to the Buyer’s satisfaction. The Buyer has the option to return the puppy for a replacement puppy of equal quality or a refund of the purchase price within this five (5) day period. This stipulation is contingent on whether the Buyers have exercised all necessary precautions to maintain the puppy’s health. Return airfare will be at the expense of the Buyer.

2. The puppy is covered by a thirty (30) month Hip Dysplasia guarantee provided the following instructions and conditions are met:

a. At an age acceptable to the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA), but not after thirty (30) months of age, the dog shall be x-rayed and those x-rays & application sent to the OFA for evaluation and certification. A copy of the certification and/or final evaluation should be provided to Copley Brittanys upon receipt of the results. The Buyers shall pay all costs incurred for x-raying and certification of the above named puppy. The thirty (30) month restriction is in place to encourage the Buyers to have this procedure done in a timely manner.
b. Should the puppy show evidence of Hip Dysplasia by OFA, the Buyer may exercise the following options:
i. A mutually agreeable replacement puppy will be provided to the Buyers at the time proof of spay or neuter is provided.
ii. If the Buyer does not want a replacement puppy, Copley Brittanys agrees to refund one-half of the original purchase price upon receipt of proof of the spay or neuter of the dysplastic puppy.

3. If the puppy is sold as SHOW QUAILITY, it is guaranteed free of any disqualifying show faults as listed in the AKC Breed Standard for showing in conformation competition. If the puppy is found to have disqualifying faults for show purposes only, then the Buyer may exercising one of the following options:
a. A mutually agreeable replacement puppy will be provided to the Buyers at the time proof of spay or neuter is provided.
b. If the Buyer does not want a replacement puppy, Copley Brittanys agrees to refund one-half of the original purchase price upon receipt of proof of the spay or neuter of the non-showable puppy.
If the Buyer chooses NOT to spay /neuter on the basis of the disqualification, this guarantee is void.

4. If the puppy is diagnosed as having a disease thought to be genetically or inheritably linked. Buyers may exercises one of the following options:
a. A mutually agreeable replacement puppy will be provided to the Buyers at the time proof of spay or neuter is provided.
b. If the Buyer does not want a replacement puppy, Copley Brittanys agrees to refund one-half of the original purchase price upon receipt of proof of the spay or neuter of the said puppy.
Such determination of genetic disease is left to the mutual agreement of the Buyers’ & Sellers’ veterinarians. In the case of a disagreement, a mutually agreed on third opinion will be sought.

5. Copley Brittanys retains the right of “First Option Back” should the puppy be sold or transferred at anytime. The First Option Back as mentioned means that should the Buyers decide to sell or transfer the puppy or its ownership documents, then the Seller (Copley Brittanys) has the first option to obtain full ownership back. The Buyers must contact the Seller (Copley Brittanys), and allow twenty-one (21) days after notification for the Sellers (Copley Brittanys) to exercise their option before any other “new” buyers may be considered. The Sellers (Copley Brittanys) and the Buyers will mutually determine the Fair Market Value for the puppy at that time. If a mutually agreeable price cannot be determined, three knowledgeable Brittany breeders will be polled as to their opinion of value, and the average will be considered the Fair Market Value.

6. The Buyer agrees to use the name “COPLEY” as the first six letters in the puppy’s registered name. In addition, this puppy is from a themed litter. All the puppies from this litter must have the word ________ somewhere in their AKC registered name.

7. If the puppy is used for breeding prior to OFA certification, ALL GUARANTEES BECOME VOID. This is done not to discourage breeding, but to discourage breeding of animals that are not genetically sound.
