I have a male rottweiler and he had puppies with a Akita, white dog looks like a wolf. And she had puppies but they all look like the rottweiler. But my question is at what time do is it right to seperate them from the mom?

At 5 to 6 weeks old I start to seperate mom and pups. Put the mom back with pups only for feeding time and then take her back out.
