There are a lot of things that can result in hyperactivity in a dog including environment and heredity. Collies in general are not hyperactive and more than a few are dedicated couch potatoes. As she is a mix, it can be hard to determine where her energy comes from.

A friend of mine breeds Labs...and I can tell you, that the hyperactivity is more than likely the Lab in her. I would suggest more excersize. My friend has taught her labs to play frisbee, fetch, etc. If she is so hyper, I would give her a way to burn that energy. Plus, it is a fun way for you to bond with your dog and even get some excerize yourself.
