A Visitor asked the following question on 10/8/2008
we recently injquired a 6 month chow chow pup we have had her for almost 2 months she still wan=nts nothing to do with us she has not been aggressive or anything like that she just hides from us. I am certain no one in our home has been mean to her she doesnt even want to take treats from us. now she is hiding under my bed as close to the wall and away from us as possible. If anyone has any suggestions PLEASE let me know we want her to love us as much as we love her. Thanks

Your puppy's unbalanced temperament is probably the result of bad genetics and improper socialization, not abuse. Two months is long enough for her to have learned she can trust you. Get her out from underneath the bed, and do not allow her to hide again. If you purchased this puppy from a breeder that breeder should take it back.
