how are austrailian shepard dogs with cats?

It depends, every animal is different. Some are raised with animals, some are not. If you introduce an aussie to a cat he might chase it, and thats when you need to teach him to not do that. Show him that the cat is a member of your family to. Then he can gradually get used to the other critter.
