A Visitor asked the following question on 8/17/2004
Cheyenne is now 6 years old and is starting to slow down some. She stands approx. 36 inches and weighs about 170. Do the larger Malamutes have a shorter life span than the average size Malamutes

I would not say they wont live as long but you do seem to have a problem with hip replacement
