2/18/09 Breeding is more science that simply attaching a price to a service. Some males are excellent producers and come from long lines of excellent examples of the breed. Because a male is capable of breeding doesn't make him a good breeding prospect. Also, genetic testing is crucial to protecting the breed and responsible breeding. Knowing in advance, that you have done the proper genetic testing and have acted responsibly, only helps the breed become better and helps to minimize genetic replication of bad genes. Tammy
