No that is not true at least in my experience anyway. I have had male miniature schnauzers for years....LOL, more than I care to admit to and they are just as good as the girls.

Yes, it is true. Once a male is used for breeding he only does what is natural instinct and will mark his boundries for the other males in the area. If you are not going to use a male for breeding it is recommended that they be fixed before they do have male thoughts. Males do make wonderful pets and can actually be a lot more lovable than females.
