A Visitor asked the following question on 4/26/2008
I have been all over the net searching for the answer to this. I can see a difference in the coats of 2 of my male pups, their coats are very lusturious and soft like silk, the other boy is not so shiny, but still soft. how do i tell the difference, i will be selling them in 2 -3 weeks and dont want to send them home with the owners not knowing.

One good way I have found is to look at their ears. Their ears will start to look "wavy" if they have a long coat. This occurs at 2-3 weeks old.
