A Visitor asked the following question on 7/2/2006
I have a Black and Tan Piebald and his nose is spotted with white and black markings. Is that acceptable markings or did I get an unusual puppy?

The markings on your Piebald pups nose are referred to as a "butterfly" nose, it can stay that way, but they have been known to turn all black as the pup gets older. If it stays that way, it is a fault in the show ring only. Otherwise, they're just cute!
