A Visitor asked the following question on 6/3/2006
I have two dachshunds, one of them sits normally and the other never lets her bottom touch the floor. She looks as if she is squatting when really she is sitting. Any ideas why she sits this way?

I have a couple that do that. Also when they lay down their legs go out the back insted of under them. I think this is because the legs are a bit longer than the normal dachshund. Some tend to be a bit more leggy then others.
