We just adopted a 8 month old cane corso, but she won't leave the chinchilla alone. He is in a cage and she keeps snaping and jumbing all over the cage. Any suggestions on how to get her use to the chinchilla.

Training. before your Corso gets aby bigger or older start with proper training. Your dog should understand NO, LEAVE IT, or a basic OUT (quit and leave it alone) command. Consistently train your dog that the chinchili is not allowed to be messed with. From the beginning, I would not even allow the dog to show interest in it at all. Soon you will be able to have them in the same room together - if you use consistent and proper training.
