"Quality Dogs?"
|
|
I thought this was going to be a reasonable site to find reputable breeders but i was wrong. At least its not as bad as NextDayPets. (horrible site if your looking for pits or amstaffs) But it seems i cant go anywhere without seeing "bully breeders" now dont get me started on them they are the lowest of the low. I saw an add for them in the Bull Terriers listing. I thought they only false advertised on pitbull and amstaffs. There needs to be something done about these breeders | | |

Not to defend any particular breeder, but "Bully" seems to be commonly used as a nickname for several breeds, including Bull Terriers, English Bulldogs, AmStaffs, etc. I know several very reputable show breeders who refer to their dogs as "Bullies" for short. Maybe this isn't the point you were making, but I certainly wouldn't assume anything negative just because someone uses the nickname "Bully" for their breed.

I breed American Bullies and they are wonderfull (and if bred right) athletic dogs. I have a few I am training for weight pull and a puppy that I jog with daily. The breed ussually has very good endurance like a pitbull with the sweet tempurment of some other bully bereedsBreeder of American Bullies and currently looking for a Belgian Malinois or Sloughi to show

The term "Bully" breeder is commonly used in reference to individuals who are NOT breeding to standard but rather to a grotesquely overdone version of the breed of choice. Bascially....not good breeders IMO.
Sorry....i think American "bullies" fall into that catagory.
