Hello Folks,
Anneke and I went to visit our nephews and nieces
at our aunties Kerry's ranch near Bend, Central
Oregon. As always the both of us were very excited
to go on a trip especialy Anneke who was bound to
the whelpingbox because of her 5 puppies.

I can't help to bark when i am excited although
mommy and daddy kept on telling me to be quiet
hehe!
Anneke's puppies were allowed to come with us of
course as to be the first young lesson in
cardriving and/or traveling just for the feel of
it.
They were put in half a dog crate and enjoyed it
very much especialy while they could sleep and eat
as long and how much they wanted.
When we arrived at Kerry's place we were to put
outside first for our own convenience as well the
puppies, which are trying to walk now!

Anneke and her puppies stayed behind but I was
allowed to go with mommy and daddy on a shopping
trip for Kerry and her helpers Carol and Jessie.
It was a wonderfull trip and i hope we will soon do
it again, because i love to see all the other
puppies and their mommies Robin and Aurora .
The three mommies Anneke, Aurora and Robin made
their puppies with the help of my brother Merrick!
After a day full excitement we went home, on which
way i fel asleep several times and after we arrived
home, daddy made us a nice dinner so we could fall
asleep with a full tummie again!
Hopefully i will have another story soon again, so
live well and take care well for your doggies everywhere!!

Anneke's first litter

Anneke has just had her first litter of puppies on october the 14th. This was a funny story about the birth. We knew she was close to her time, so we cleared our schedules that whole week. There was only one appointment we could not cancel, my husband had to go to the INS and have his fingerprints and pictures done (He is from Holland). These appointments are set up months ahead of time and are impossible to change. So, of course, Anneke went into labor the very day of the appointment. We did not want to leave her with the teenagers for the 3 hours it would take us to drive to Portland and back, so we took her with us. And of course she gave birth in the car. We joked that the $100 whelping box my husband had so carefully made for her was not good enough, OUR princess wanted to have HER puppies in the $20K car.
She is a wonderful and devoting mother, and all 5 puppies are doing great.
