AKC Inspection
For the 2nd time, we have passed our AKC inspection with flying colors. I feel so relieved. It's not that I didn't think I would, but I just ALWAYS have an overwhelming worry when someone wants to do a 'looky" to see if you are doing things right. I do everything to the best of my ability, but I still worry. Our inspector had some nice comments about our place and how my paperwork was kept. He also spoke highly of our dogs. :) Kudos for me. LOL What a way to start off a new year!! I am very thankful to be able to live out my passion. Life is good and I am truly blessed.
Let It Snow Dec 11, 2008 1 Dec 11, 2008

December 11, 2008 I can not ever remember when it has snowed twice in one year. This marks a record for South Mississippi I believe. Funny thing is I didn't even know it was supposed to snow until late yesterday evening and by 6:30 this morning, we were getting the white stuff. I love snow, but am glad when it is gone. Guess that comes from living down south most of my life and never getting used to driving and living in it. The dogs didn't know what to think about it at first, but after a while decided it wasn't going to kill them and romped around in it until they were wet. I wish the puppies would have been a little bit older so they could have enjoyed it to. As of right now, none of them are going anywhere that they will have snow on a regular basis. Kailee's litter still has to find homes, so maybe one of them will luck out and go north. :) Willow is getting tired of her babies and is ready to get them weaned but just as soon as I start trying to help her, she wants to get back in with them. She's has always been a strange one when it comes to her puppies. Glory doesn't mind being with her babies, but I know she would rather be with us lounging on the couch or just anywhere near us. Kailee is fine wherever she is so there is no worry there. I sure hope I can find her a fantastic home to live out the rest of her life. She is such a sweetheart.
