A Visitor asked the following question on 5/18/2010
I just got an 8 month old yorkie puppy. The old owners got her with her first set of shots and vet check up. I noticed that when she is playing she will constantly do this sort of snorting sneezing type noise. The old owner thought she had allergies. She does not do it when we are walking or running so I'm not sure if it could be a collapsed trachea, I don not walk her on a collar I use a harness. Is this something I should be worried about?

She is probably just back sneezing. Sometimes when they get excited it happens. Try to take the palm of your hand and cover her nostrils up for a second that should stop it.
