my adult yorkie has had scabs on her skin for years now. When treated with topical steroids there's only help for the itching. When treated for staff with antibiotics it only helps as long as she given the antibiotics. My vet says she may have to stay on them forever. This has not even completely gotten rid of them. Is there help?

2/20/08 Have you tried from the inside out? In other words have you tried upgrading her food and coat supplements to help her skin become more elastic and moist, which should help with scabs. Has your vet said it is allergies or dermatitis or demodex or? Eukanuba has a great new Yorkie food that is just for them and really does wonders for their coats. Lisa
