My male yorkie, Cooper, is now 19 months old. He started about 6 months ago attacking others in our house like my nephew (not biting just going after them). Then about a month ago he began doing the same to my husband. Anytime my husband would move or even try to get in the bed Cooper would go off on him. Now he has started this behavior with me. It scares the crap out of you more than anything because he comes out of nowhere. I really wish I knew what was going on with him. Two things happened around the time his behavior began. One, we got a female and about a month later we were robbed while the dogs were home alone. Any ideas of what I can do to change his behavior?

1/1/08 I'd suggest neutering him. I think it has as much to do with the female dog in the house as the robbery, and his hormones may be just going crazy. Is he already neutered? Then behavior modification training is in order. Best of luck! Lisa
