My Yorkie will be 6 weeks pregnant on Tuesday 2/1/07 I am wondering what the best sort of food is to feed her and any additional vitamins that I need to give her and any helpful tips???

Feed agood quality puppy food, follow label directions, the last few weeks I give my dogs all they want to eat. Expect to have to entice them to eat the last week or so, some dogs go totally off their feed and need something more like cooked chicken or canned dog food to keep them healthy until the litter arrives. do not give Calcium until after the dog has puppies or possibly the last week before birth, if you give calcium too soon, you have bigger puppies and more c-sections.
