are westie's non-allergic dogs. What is a better
sex to get male or female for a 8 year girl.
Is one better temperment or easier to train.

Males are easier and better temperament then females and most breeders sell the males cheaper then females. But in most cases, you must get the male fixed prior to around six or seven months of age so he never learns to hike his leg. Once neutered, they make ideal housepets. Some people have intact male westies in their house and never have a problem.
No dog is hypoallergenic no matter what the breeders say. My daughter bought a Hypoallergenic labradoodle and my grandbaby was sick every day with allergies until the dog had to be given away. She miraculously recovered the next day.
