My name is Roy I have a profound hearing loss I also have a two year old weim her name is Mia,
she is a hearing dog.My questions is when I have mia in the park
and she his getting her exercise which she stays right with me,
and other dog comes over she is not aggressive and payes no attention to other dogs.when I asked the owner of the dog to please get off the cell phone and watch your dog he came over and punched me in the face knocking me down Mia went after him and bite him on his hand I believe she acted in self defence for me. After calling 911 the police came and told me mia could be put to sleep if the other person presses charges I need to know can this happen?
