5/16/06 Hi, Regarding eye/eye rim color for Bluies...according to the Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club of America, "Bluies: Colored portion of the coat have a distinct bluish or smokey cast. This coloring is associated with extremely light or blue eyes and liver or gray eye rims, nose and lip pigment." This is considered to be a "Very serious fault in color." This does not mean that Bluies aren't good dogs, just not meant for the Breed Ring and any Bluie should be spayed/neutered. Hope it helps, Shelly KingsVillage Corgis Shelly
