Hi. I am thinking about getting a Vizsla and am curious if one can be trusted to be left alone while I work. I am a very active person and can give the dog much attention and exercise after work daily and on weekends. During the week I could take the dog for a short walk in the morning and for a longer walk in the evening. The dog would be left alone from 7:00 am until 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. Is a Vizsla for me???? Thanks!!! John. Feasterville Pa.

Hi John, A vizsla does very well being left alone but at an older age. I do reccomend you crate train your dog, from puppyhood, with outings and walks during lunch time until he or she is about 8 mo old or so. Vizslas should not be left alone for that amount of time while a puppy.
