My 2 yr old female is about to have her liter of puppies. I need to know how long to leave the umbilical cord and how to tie it? I am planning to do this to help insure the pups do not have hernias. I have been told to do this by many experienced Toy Poodle Breeders, so I want to do it.. Any information would be great.
