about how long will it take her to give birth to the puppys?

Just like with humans the birthing process can take a few minutes to several hours. If a female is pushing like she is having a large bm for more than 2 hours, and nothing is coming out or she has green discharge, or more than one bubble of water comes out with no puppies presenting you should rush her to the vet.
