If it is her first heat she will come into season around 9-12 months old and usually 4-6 months after that. It's recommended to wait until the female is 24 months old to begin breeding. Most females can be bred on their 8-14th day of menstruation(bleeding). Get her by your stud and they'll let you know by the way they act. If she moves her tail to the side or stands it up out of the way providing him clear access she is ready to breed. If she fights him off she is not ready. Take note of the number of days after she starts menstruation since this is the day she is ready to begin breeding. All females have different days. Some aggression is normal but not heavy aggression. The gestation period for staffy's is 63 days. It may be a few more or a few less.
