Hair falling out can be a serious issue, I recommend you take your dog to the vet. Hair falling out can be a lack of vitamin/minerals, lack of protein, an allergic reaction to food, air borne allergies, mites, an allergic reaction to fleas, etc. Please take your dog to the vet. I had a dog have the same problem and we have never had fleas before and we have some wild raccoons that come into our yard and have brought fleas and my dog had an allergic reaction to the flea bite. He got sores all over his body, which became infected and the hair on his head and rear end fell out. He had to have an antibiotic and anti fungal shampoo to get over the reaction. Now, his hair has come back in and he looks great but it definitely took a trip to the vet to fix the problem.
