WHAT TYPE OF HERNIA IS IT? INGUAL? OR NAVEL? IF IT IS A NAVEL THAT IS VERY COMMON IN THE BREED. YOU CAN BREED HER SHE WILL DO FINE. HOWEVER IF IT IS THE LOWER HERNIA, THERE ARE MANY DIFFERENT OPIONS ABOUT IT. SOME WOULD TELL YOU NOT TO BREED IT, THAT WILL PAST DOWN THREW TO YOUR PUPS, AND SOME WOULD SAY THAT IF ITS SMALL AND NOT NEEDING ATTENTION THAT IT DOESNT BOTHER THE PUPS, AND YOU CAN BREED HER. WITH MY EXPERIANCE... I HAVE HAD 1 ADULT FEMALE THAT DID HAVE THE LOWER AND SHE HAD 1 LITTER WITH ME, HERE BABIES DIDNT HAVE ANY PROBLEMS WHAT SO EVER. I HAVE TALKED TO THE TOP OF THE TOP BREEDERS IN SHIH TZU'S AND SOME SAY BREED THEM, AND OTHERS SAY DONT. THERE IS NO HARD PROOF THAT THEY PASS THREW OR ARE GENITIC. SO IF YOU FEMALE IS IN TOP CONDITION AND IS BIG ENOUGH TO BREED, I WOULD TRY IT AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS...WORST CASE YOU HAVE TO GIVE THEM AWAY... YOUR GETTING HER FIXED ANYWAYS, SO GO FOR IT:) HAPPY BREEDING!
