seems to help both male and female - for different reasons...females are not so territorial after spay, and males tend to stop spraying their areas. I don't know of any problems after successful surgery, but it is surgery, especially for the female - pay the doctor...don't get sale-spay.

USUALY NOT GO TO A REPUTAL VET.THERE A SEVEAL REASONS FOR SPAYING& NUTERING DOGS THERE ARE DIFFERNT HEALTH ISSUES.YOURE BREEDER WILL PROVIDE& GUIDE YOU ON THIS.SOME VETS DO JUVEINAL SPAY/& NEUTERING.
