A Visitor asked the following question on 11/10/2008
I have bought an 11 weeks old Shih Tzu puppy. He has a very strong smell about him. Much stronger than I expected. Is this a particular trait of the breed? If I go out and close the window for 1 hour the smell upon returning is quite strong. Has anyone else had teh same problem?

In order to help, one must determine the source of the smell..... coat, breath, urine, feces.
Each area 's symptoms could mean different things. Are you keeping the puppy in long Coat or trimming him into a puppy cut? N. Broz
