HOW RARE IS IT THAT A SHIHTZU PUPPY WILL BE BORN WITH ONE BLUE EYE AND ONE DARK EYE? IS IT CONSIDERED A DEFECT?

I had several like that. My vet said it is not a defect, and that it just means the mom/dad is a true blue or carrier. Malamutes are also often born this way.
