I've heard that Shih Tuzs are 1 owner dogs, and want to rescue one but I'm now curious about this. Is this true??

Absolutely Not!! Shih Tzu's are loving companions and will and do adapt very well. You do have to realize that just like humans they come with baggage. If you adopted a child, let's say 12 years old, you know they have alot of life experiences that might be challenging and you would have alot of patience and understanding. The same is true of any animal that has had a previous owner. Go ahead and rescue a baby and just remember you will have a few challenges but the reward in the end will be more than your heart ever imagined. And if you have any questions concerning the breed or any problems you may run into, feel free to call me at 251-401-2839 or email me at admin@spoiledrottenkennel.com and I will gladly do my best to assist you in any way possible. Or should you want to talk before getting a baby I will gladly talk to you about your concerns and questions. Pam
