I have a 5 year old sheltie and am getting another. My question is how do you get yoursheltie all fluffy and full bodied liked the ones in the akc eukenuba tournement of champions?

Hi,
Well to achieve that look, you first need a properly bred dog. Than a good diet, these dogs are excersized to promote movement and musle tone so usually a high energy diet with lots of fats, omega, and other vitamins to provide coat growth.....these dogs can take richer foods that the normal pet would gain weight on.
Then they have coat dressing, conditioners and bodiefiers in their coat, not to mention lots and lots of water spayed on it ahead of time and hours of brushing to optain just the right look.
The normal pet person does not want to go through all the groomeing that is needed for this look, and to be honest, most pet shelties would rather you don't bother either.
