will a shiba inu slip a lish and later return home on there own? how do you catch them? seen often but runs off.

My male shiba who is altered frequently slips off leash and always returns home.
However-DO NOT CHASE the shiba-they love it-and it will encourage them.
Calmly follow your dog-treats(cheese) can be used to get a hold of him and DO NOT PUNISH once you get him.
For his safety-try to get off leash training with a professional trainer(shibas like to run tho)
