My 10 year old Wheaten has had skin allergies for 8 months. Black flaky, scaly spots, yellow puss under neck, an odor and constant licking and scratching. We have tried 3 different courses of antibiotics,, with temporary relief and it then starts again. Daily washing of affected areas with a medicated shampoo. Her diet has been modified and now consists of only prescription food that is only potato and duck. We are on another course of medicine, Simplex. She is lethargic and unhappy....not herself.....help!

Try NuVet vitamins and Comfrtis for fleas. Also stick with the good dog food. It takes it a while to clear up.
