I adopted a husky mix which definetly has a traditional husky personality, he is copper, and mixed with shepard. I also adopted a full blood Husky who is 5 years old, and I call him old man, all he does is lay around, which I love and adore, but this does not seem like normal behavior for a husky? Is this normal

Some dogs are just more laid back then others. Some can be lazy. I would have your vet do some bloodwork to make sure he's not anemic but it's probably just his personality.
